GUY ALMOST SCORES A GIRL, BUT FRIEND DECIDES TO BLOCK HIM
A guy shared a story that happened back in the earlier days of his career when he was out with a few colleagues for dinner during one of their overseas attachments and almost scored one of them which he has been ‘eyecandying’ for the longest time only to get blocked by his friend.
According to him, the friend of his knew that the girl was also interested in him but he continued to block him out of fun as he did not want to finish the night alone.
The friend had apparently came up with a ruse just to prevent them from going back together.
“Back when I was 23 and I just started to work, a few of my colleagues were sent by my boss to gain some exposure working overseas.
One day, two of my colleagues, a female and male along with me decided to go for dinner and get some drinks after.
The female colleague of mine has been my eyecandy since I entered the company and the feeling was sort of mutual.
During the drinking session, she made it very obvious that she wanted me to spend the night with her in her hotel room.
The male colleague of mine overheard this and stole her wallet, as he did not want to spend the night alone while I was scoring.
It is as if if he did not get company for the night, no one else can.
To cut the long story short, we spent about 2 hours trying to look for her wallet by back tracking to the places that we went prior to drinking.
After he sensed that the female colleague was tired and not in the mood anymore, he slipped me the wallet, winked and said ‘better luck next time.’
True enough when I told her that I found her wallet and returned it to her, she said that its late and she is tired and we should all go back to our rooms to rest.
I ended up spending the night alone and never got a chance again to tackle this female colleague of mine again.”
