Asking money back from friend

Last month, I borrowed my friend about $200 because he’s broke and needed the money to pay rent. But saw on his IGS that he could still use the money for fun.

Then I found out that I’m not the only person who borrowed him money. IDK how to ask for money back because I feel guilty if like he doesn’t have a proper job or what.

He’s a good friend ah so IDK how to ask

It seems like you have learnt the lesson that most people eventually learn – to not lend money to friends or family, unless you can accept losing it entirely. With that said, you should try your best to pursue your ‘friend’, but, be prepared to lose your friendship

If he’s taking your money and not returning it to you, he’s not only NOT a good friend, but he’s not even a decent person.Take your money back and chuck that “friendship” in the bin where it belongs.

ehh $200, work few days part time can get alrdy, unless he has major illness or disability, no excuse lol, no money go work, simple logic. And no job still rent above budget, you not even his parent why pay for him. Keep doing this and he will treat u as atm already.ask him back in a group setting to embarrass him. Lend money = prepare to lose it.use the old trick lah…friend: can borrow $200you: i dun hv $200friend: why this small amt also dhyou: you also dhfriend: shooked pikachu face

now you know he’s not a good friend lor, cut ties and run fast. now he know u so easy to approach to borrow money from, he will confirm chop keep coming to you

Talk to the other people that he borrowed from. Send him weekly reminders to pay back. It’s your money, you have every right to ask for it back. Gotta be thick skin here. And $200 isn’t a small sum. I would ask around and get his address to find him.
