Anyone felt quarter life crisis?

Especially the males, we wasted 2 precious years of our lives serving and having our plans put on hold, most of us will be graduating at the time non-NS serving people are starting to grow their career…

I keep wondering why am I still in college at 24, like seriously what am I doing in college in my mid 20s getting a Bachelors?

My foreign and female local peers are already getting experiences and the bag/getting Masters while I’m wasting it on being an undergrad because I got pulled back 2 years for being born with an XY chromosome on this island. I just feel dejected.

Girls can also comment their 2 cents as well my NS struggles does not invalidate your QLC/opinions/advice, as long as you live in this rock ball you’ll bound to have a crisis at some point in time.

Meh. Life is how you make it.At 24, i was working a dead end job, earning 1.5k.At 25, i decided to study A levels with no prior jc background. At 30, i graduated from NUS.Do i feel time was wasted? No because i had to take the time to grow up and find what i wanted to do.Currently employed and enjoying life and married. If you have the “woe is me” attitude, then everything is a waste.I also spent 2 years serving ns. Not once did i feel i wasted my time. I just had to take a longer route.

As someone that just passed mid life, seriously, a lot of things can happen in 10 years, so don’t worry too much about it. If you are concerned about income, those friends that made more at 25 are not the same ones that are making more at 40.Sometimes people stumble into a good job, or someone tried to start their business and failed, some people stagnate in their careers over time.Life is unpredictable to say the least, Macdonalds and KFC was started by people much older. Life is also more a marathon rather than a race. And everyone dies, so try to enjoy the trip even if things don’t go the way we want.

Hello, i’m a woman (hope its ok for me to comment though i got lucky i dont need to do ns), just want to say that when you look back in your 30s, ns will probably be a blip in your life. My husband is 31 and I’m 2 years younger. We both graduated from uni around same time, and he’s making double my salary due to industry plus well he’s really really good at what he does. He’s completed 6 rounds of reservist so there’s not many more to go. Career wise he’s doing much better than his female peers who graduated 2 years earlier. Hope this gives you hope that ns won’t ruin your life.
