Last year, my long-term relationship with a woman ended, as I realised I am gay. I have been leaning on my friends for support. I have one female friend that I believe has a crush on me.

She’s been kind and supportive since I broke up with my girlfriend. She helped me move to my new home and settle into my new place. She is aware that I am gay and dating men. She is supportive of this. She’s even met a couple of my dates.

However, when we meet she links my arm as we walk, she flirts, she gives me prolonged eye contact, she looks at me as she plays with her hair. She takes my hand and holds it, and places her hand on my thigh.

I’ve been with women before, I know the signs. This morning she asked me if I was sure I am gay, with a glistening eye and deep eye contact.

I am sure I am gay.

It’s making my feel disrespected.
