German wrestling legend Karsten Beck has died after a long battle with brain cancer.

The former wXw Unified World Wrestling Champion – who was inducted into the promotion’s Hall of Fame in 2017 – has sadly lost his battle with the disease, and the promotion offered a touching tribute as they confirmed the tragic news.

They wrote: ‘Karsten Pitann aka Karsten Beck has passed away this morning after battling brain cancer for years.
