Former Singapore Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong is maintaining his silence even after news broke that his son, Goh Jin Hian, is being sued over losses of about S$212 million by the Judicial Managers (JMs) who were appointed to act on behalf of Inter-Pacific Petroleum (IPP).

What do you expect him to do.or say? If he say something than he can be seen as trying to influence a legal case agiainst his son...even a simply my son is innonence can be construe of trying to influence the judge because of his standing in Singapore...so he is doing the right and proper thing by not making any public statements about the case....

As a father and an ex PM, his silence is plausible, in order not to influence the outcome. His son is capable enough to clear his own name, on his own; if he is innocent. Kudos to GCT.
