Google has settled a class action lawsuit filed in 2022 by former employee April Curley and other Black workers who alleged the company discriminated in hiring, pay, and promotion.

The plaintiffs said Google steered Black employees into lower-paid and lower-level roles, blocked advancement, and fostered a hostile workplace for workers who spoke up.
