KUALA LUMPUR: Official announcement of the new salary scheme for the civil service is expected to be made during the 2025 Budget tabling in October. 

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories) Dr Zaliha Mustafa said the Public Service Remuneration System Study (SSPA) on the new scheme was in its final stages and will be presented to the Cabinet for further consideration.
