Govt pays over RM936 mln for claims under MySalam scheme

KUALA LUMPUR :The government has paid RM936.12 million for claims under the MySalam scheme from 2019 to December 2023, according to the Finance Ministry.
Deputy Finance Minister Lim Hui Ying said the total claims involved 1.27 million beneficiaries, including B40 individuals and their spouses between the ages 18 to 65 years old who are recipients of the Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR).
