But one couple liked the dish so much, they decided to serve it at their wedding.
This caught the attention of Malaysian YouTuber Dan Khoo, who was a guest at the banquet.
Khoo uploaded two Instagram Stories to his Facebook on Dec. 15, and wrote that he approves of the wedding.
The wedding, which ostensibly took place in Malaysia, was held in a grand ballroom.
According to Khoo, it wasn’t just any chicken rice either — it was nice chicken rice.
At time of writing, Khoo’s post has gathered more than 3,100 shares.
It was also shared to Facebook group Subtle Asian Traits and reported on by the .
In response, Khoo joked that even his own YouTube videos do not go as viral.
He also suggested what the next couple should serve at their wedding.
