Cellan has been eliminated from the Great Pottery Throw Down 2022 during Garden Week, while AJ was awarded potter of the week.

In the latest episode of the Channel 4 competition, the potters were asked to create a trio of character gnomes and a sea kale forcer.

Announcing his exit from the show, host Ellie Taylor said: ‘It’s horrible to think that one of you has to go. But the person leaving this week is… Cellan. I’m so sorry Cellan’.

The 23-year-old refused to let his spirits be dampened as he told the cameras on his exit: ‘This is the start for me to go out there and do something that I really want to do’.

The 3D design and craft graduate used bright and bold colours to map out his ‘Three Lost Gnomes’.

Many people were quick to comment on his gnomes, which he whipped up in the second challenge of the night.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: ‘I really like Cellan’s squat little gnomes #PotteryThrowdown’

Another added: ‘I am in love with Cellan’s lobotomised gnome. #PotteryThrowdown’
