PETALING JAYA: Beyond the smiles, Malaysia’s latest world champion bodybuilder Nur Sufhian Hamisan was carrying a weight far heavier than the dumbbells he trains with in the gym.

Sufhian lost the newest member of his family – a three-day-old baby boy – only days before he was scheduled to compete in the World Bodybuilding and Body Physique Sports Championships in Batam, Indonesia.
