The Housing and Development Board (HDB) will put up approximately 3,000 balance flats for sale in July 2025, marking the second Sale of Balance Flats (SBF) exercise this year, Minister for National Development Desmond Lee announced in a Facebook post on 1 Apr 2025.

HDB to Launch BTO Flats Alongside the Second Round of SBF Exercise

This second round follows February’s launch of 5,590 SBF units, which attracted over 22,000 applicants. The combined supply for balance flats in 2025 will reach about 8,500 units, the largest since 2017.
