In a recent episode of Chinese variety show Viva La Romance, Hong Kong actress Karena Ng, 30, and her third-gen billionaire boyfriend Brian Shi, 33, announced that they will be tying the knot next year.

During the show, Karena revealed that she and Brian, whom she has dated for five years, have already applied for a marriage license, and will be holding their wedding banquet in 2024. This led the other guests on the show to ask Brian, whose family has a reported net worth of HK$10bil (S$1.7bil), how he knew Karena, who's famously known as the ex-girlfriend of Raymond Lam, was the right one for him.
