SINGAPORE – Hong Kong diva Joey Yung had a great time while performing in Singapore.
The 45-year-old was in town for the second day of
the Bubbling & Boiling Music and Arts Festival
Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa on Sept 14.
She took to Instagram on Sept 15, sharing a short clip of her backstage, photos of her performing at the music festival and a picture of her fans.
“Thank you for the great time,” the singer wrote. “Bak kut teh.”
There were snaps of her staring at a table of food, including bak kut teh, as well as a bowl of chendol and a plate of nasi lemak.
One of her celebrity pals Scottie Hui, the son of Hong Kong singer Sam Hui, commented on her post: “Wah. We just missed your show then cause we were just there doing one too.”
Sam Hui, 77, billed as the “God of Cantopop”, held a concert at The Star Theatre on Sept 12.
Yung has been busy this past month.
She performed at the Guochao Xingdong Concert in Dalian, China, in early August and at the International Hot Air Balloon Fest in Hong Kong in early September.
