12 Aug - Hacken Lee has recently dismissed the rumour that he is working on paving a way for Gigi Yim to sign with a new company so that she can develop her career in mainland China.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who spoke to the media during an appearance at a TVB charity event, was asked to address the rumours, to which he expressed surprise and stated that Gigi's future has nothing to do with him.

It is noted that Hacken was the coaching supervisor of "Stars Academy", of which Gigi was the winner for season 1.

"We are with different companies. Stars Academy is like one big family. Tonight, I saw several students gather and perform together. They've all improved a lot and look even better," he said.

"As for Gigi, we occasionally exchange messages, but I'm not involved in anything about her future. Everyone has their path to follow. I'm not her family, and she hasn't asked for my opinion, so it's none of my business. I also asked the boss, and it's not his business either," he said.
