12 Aug - Hacken Lee recently revealed that he plans to take fewer gigs now that his son has been accepted to a college abroad.

The singer, who spoke to the media at a recent TVB charity event, shared that he and his wife will be flying off soon with eldest son, Ryan, as he has enrolled in the college of his choice.

"My wife and I will be accompanying our son there and we will only return to Hong Kong once he is settled," he said.

Asked if he is worried about Ryan having to live his own life thousands of miles away from home, he said, "I won't feel any reluctance. He is a boy after all."

Hacken said that his son is quite independent, which is a relief, though he still reminded Ryan to be extra cautious about certain things.

Asked if he is worried that Ryan will one day bring a foreign girlfriend home, Hacken smiled and said, "I can't control that anymore. He will have his own life in the future."
