29 Jul - Hafiz Suip recently confirmed that he and his wife Nureffy Jasreel Abdullah are now divorced.

Sharing the news with the media recently, the "Awan Nano" singer said that the two of them have ended their marriage officially on 29 May, but that they have a good relationship with one another.

"I am trying to make peace with my fate and to avoid a bad situation, my ex-wife is given the custody of our children. For me, there's no point in fighting back and forth in court, so it's better for us to make peace," he said.

Hafiz said that he and his ex-wife are still in discussions on how to manage the kids seeing that he now lives in Kuching, Sarawak.

"I will come here (to Kuala Lumpur) more often and ask permission to spend the night with the children," he added.

Hafiz also said that he has no regrets when it comes to the end of the marriage, seeing that they had tried to save it but to no avail.

The singer married Nureffy on 14 May 2016. The two are parents to Muhammad Riyadh Zafri, 8, and Muhammad Alkaf Zayne, 5.
