Halle Berry just treated her fans to a rare glimpse at her 8-year-old son, Maceo. While the actress is known to keep her children out of the spotlight (and off social media), she broke her self-imposed rule in honor of her son's birthday.

"This little dude is 8 today! Happy Birthday THUNDER," Halle captioned a photo of Maceo who was wearing what appeared to be an early Halloween costume. Seemingly dressed up as a scarecrow, he posed in outfit comprised of camouflage-printed shorts, a jacket accented with straw cuffs and rope, striped socks, and a moss green hat that covered his eyes.
