Ngoh Jook Guan and Ivy Lim, the Singaporean hawker couple behind the Botak Cantonese Porridge stalls, will be retiring.
In a Facebook post on Apr. 30, their daughter Hwee Yi said that her parents will plan their retirement after returning from a family trip to Yunnan.

Unless their children are active in the running of the businesses, very unlikely the two stalls will still be operating once they retired especially the part of cooking that would needed trained person to carry on the trade

good to take a slower pace of life it is tough being a hawker even as the money is good, the hours are long
