Former Mediacorp actor Chen Xi had his dream wedding when he tied the knot with his Japanese wife Mimi at a traditional shrine in Japan.

The wedding ceremony was held on April 19 at Munakata Taisha Shrine in Fukuoka, which has over 1,500 years of history and recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Chen Xi, 35, son of local showbiz veterans Xiang Yun and Edmund Chen, previously shared that Mimi works in IT, and is “slightly younger” than he is.
