Health Ministry targets fewer than 50 food poisoning cases per 100,000 by 2030, steps up Ramadan bazaar monitoring

KUALA SELANGOR, Feb 22 — The Ministry of Health (MOH) is accelerating efforts to strengthen food safety control at all levels to achieve the target of less than 50 cases of food poisoning per 100,000 population by the year 2030.
Its minister, Datuk Seri Dzulkefly Ahmad said the target encompasses the industry, public food premises and educational institutions, in line with the National Food Safety Action Plan 2024-2030 and the National Food Safety Policy 2.0.
