A man shot his wife dead before asking her mum to bring him his PlayStation.

Sydney Palmer was killed by husband Michael Edgington in Wellington, Kansas, on July 3 last year. Palmer allegedly threw a 4.04-ounce concrete figurine at his head during an argument. He responded by gunning her down with a 9mm pistol. On Monday, Edgington was sentenced to 61 months in prison over the mother-of-three's death. He was convicted of voluntary manslaughter.
