A lovely story about a woman who was reunited with her missing brother who vanished 25 years ago has taken a sinister twist.

Thomas Manizak, 53, went missing in July 1999, aged 28, when he he was on his way to Newport, Oregon. He went missing without a trace and ever since his family have been searching for him and even admitted they thought they were looking for human remains.

One of those involved in the search was sister Marcella Nasseri who, earlier this year, stumbled across a picture of her long lost brother lying in a hospital bed in California. Manizak is now non-verbal and has been at the St Francis Medical Centre in Lynwood for weeks after he was found sitting on a curb in South Los Angeles.
