Heatwave expands in Peninsular Malaysia

PETALING JAYA: Heatwave conditions are spreading across northern Peninsular Malaysia, with more districts placed under Level Two (heatwave) alert as temperatures reach up to 40°C.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia), in its latest update as of 6am on Friday (March 27), said parts of Kedah, Perlis and Perak are now under Level Two alert, indicating maximum daily temperatures between 37°C and 40°C recorded for at least three consecutive days.
