LOS ANGELES - Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama fired nine birdies in a scintillating nine-under-par 62 on Feb 18 to rally from six shots back for a three-stroke victory in the Genesis Invitational at The Riviera Country Club.

Matsuyama, the 2021 Masters champion, notched his ninth PGA Tour title, breaking a tie with South Korean K.J. Choi for most by a player from Asia.
