In March, right when stay-at-home orders went into effect, I started getting really into makeup. I had plenty of makeup before that, but most days I hurriedly put on mascara, blush, and highlight before running out of my house to get to work on time. In March, when I had more time to myself in the mornings, I started playing with makeup more and more. My best friend and I sent each other tons of makeup videos on YouTube and even sent our own silly "makeup tutorials" to one another on Snapchat (yes, it was as dorky as it sounds). As I played with more and more makeup, one brand stuck out in my mind: HipDot.
