A multiplayer mod for Hogwarts Legacy is already in testing, so you should be able to play with friends soon on PC.

Since Hogwarts Legacy is solely a single-player experience, your friends sadly can’t join or help you with your adventures through the Wizarding World. 

The single-player aspect hasn’t put off gamers from purchasing the game, as it has become the fastest-selling Harry Potter game ever, outselling other popular fantasy titles like Elden Ring by a significant margin. 

However, the modding community has taken it upon itself to bring the prospect of online multiplayer to PC, only a week after the game’s release. 

The Together Team, creators of the Skyrim Together mod, have released a video showcasing an early build of HogWarp, showing two players running around Hogwarts’ halls together. 

The mod is not available for players to install just yet, as it’s still in early development, but the Together Team has promised to give their Patreon followers early access. 

Watching the video you can tell it’s a rough build at the moment, as the players’ movements are a bit glitchy and the day/night cycle isn’t synchronised.
