The climate decoder could considerably narrow down the list of worlds where alienlife might exist. Astronomers at Cornell University in New York, US, developed the model to analyse exoplanets based on their colours and their host stars. The astronomers hope large ground and space-based telescopes will soon be able to test the model in practice.
