I TOLD MY GF TO “SHARE” RENTAL, BUT SHE DOESN’T KNOW I’M THE LANDLORD
Singapore Uncensored·2024-04-20 19:09
I am writing this because I am feeling very guilty and have no avenue to share my secret.
I grew up with only my father and have no siblings, my mother passed away when I was 3 years old.
I have been with my girlfriend for 9 months and recently we moved in together.
(Not bragging), When my dad passed away, he left me 3 condominiums I stayed in one of them the other two are for rental, which brings in a passive income. Coincidentally one of the tenants moved away and it was a chance for my girlfriend to move in and I can “build a story”.
So just when my girlfriend wanted to move in with me, I asked if she wants to rent a condominium together. She agreed and she give me around $1,500 a month. I told her that it is a good deal and I will pay directly to the landlord for this “good deal”.
But the fact is I am the landlord and I am getting money from her.
So I moved from my current condo to this 2nd condo where the previous tenant moved out and rented out the one I was previously staying.
Should I tell her the truth? I am feeling guilty that I am taking $1,500 from her but at the same time I do not want to lose this extra income.
Call me useless if you want, I am not working and survive purely on the rentals. So having this $1,500 is kind of like an increment for me.

You get karma. What happens when she becomes your wife and found out you lie? You think you can live and sleep well?
