SINGAPORE - From Oct 14, operationally ready national servicemen will no longer be able to fulfil their annual fitness requirements at the Fitness and Conditioning Centre (FCC) at Maju Camp.NSmen will head to the FCC at the new Central Manpower Base (CMPB) instead.

The announcement was made in a notification on the OneNS mobile app and NS website at 2pm on Sept 16, which said that all individual physical proficiency test (IPPT) and NS Fitness Improvement Training (FIT) sessions will relocate from the camp in 39 Maju Drive, situated off Clementi Road .

Facilities at CMPB FCC include a 300m running track, with it being suitable for all weather conditions, the notification said.

Bookings at Maju FCC from Oct 14 will be automatically transferred to CMPB’s FCC, which is located in Hillview Link , opposite Cashew MRT station, about 5.6km away along Upper Bukit Timah Road .

To facilitate the transition, Maju FCC will also be closed from Oct 6 to 9, as well as on Oct 13.
