In celebration of Children's Day, a national holiday observed in Korea on May 5, several stars have made generous donations to support children and youth in need.

IU marked the occasion with a meaningful act of kindness. On May 5, her agency EDAM Entertainment revealed, "To celebrate Children's Day, IU donated a total of 150 million won (approximately $107,600) under the name 'IUAENA' [a combination of IU and her fandom UAENA]."
