The mother of the girl, whom former Mediacorp actor Ian Fang, 35, was convicted of having sex with when she was a minor, says his 40-month prison sentence is far too lenient and plans to sue him.

The girl was 15 years old when Ian, then an acting teacher with a child modelling school, began wooing her.

The mum told 8world that she hopes the authorities will review the case and impose a harsher sentence on Ian, including caning, to prevent him from harming other women in the future.
