Amazon
Promising review: "This is going to make my life in the garage so much easier and save me from countless hours of searching around for little items all over the shop. Now all the little items are in their own drawer and nicely labeled. I use it for things like nuts, bolts, markers, washers, spacers, small tools, wire nuts, drill bits, taps, air compressor fittings, and tire pressure gauges. I will order another one or two to fill up with a full drill bit index and tap set to hang next to my drill press. This is a fantastic little storage unit. better than the cheap ones I have owned in the past." —corey

Promising review: "I had previously purchased these bike hoists to store a couple of mountain bikes in my garage. I have been looking for quite some time for a way to store two kayaks and found all of the kayak lifts to be too expensive. So I got the idea to order these bike hoists and try to use them with my kayaks. I am happy to report they work great and now I have a way to store the kayaks out of the way." —M. Jones

Modular Closets
We got this system to try to deal with the chaos in our garage. We don't have a mudroom, so we have to store our shoes in the garage, which kind of gives me the heebie jeebies. So having this cabinet with doors makes me feel a little bit better about it, knowing I (hopefully) won't have spiders or something else hiding in my shoes. They seemed like they would be really hard to put together, though they have been surprisingly easy.

Promising review: "I wish I’d bought these sooner. They easily wrap around a cord or extension cord and hang by a hook. The Velcro is heavy-duty and holds large cords, too. These are a great way to help clean up the garage and keep tools/cords handy." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "My garage doesn’t have a lot of plugs, but it does have one on the ceiling for the garage door. I mounted it to the ceiling next to the plug, and now I have power anywhere in the garage. It’s also long enough to be pulled outside for my electric smoker. It’s a lot easier than having to roll up an extension cord every time. My only regret is not getting the longer one." —Anthony

Promising review: "This is an absolute no-brainer for your garage. I have mine in my garage, and a nice 150-foot 16/3 cord allows me to use it all over my garage, driveway, and most of my front lawn, and almost to the back of my house. The cord, again, is nice and straight with no kinks, so it's easy to use for tools. Then, when I am done, it takes about 20 seconds of turning the crank to reel it all back in. I've had mine for about 18 months, and it shows no signs of wear or falling apart. Other reviewers indicate that this will last for years." —M. Behnke

"I love my shoe rack! It holds a lot of shoes. Sturdy free-standing. The side pockets hold a lot of slippers or flip-flops. You can close it up when you have company, and it looks good. Great value for the money. I bought two. My husband took one, so I guess I'm buying another. Also, you can add air freshers to keep this fresh, lol." —Shirthom

Securely attach the brackets to studs/ceiling joists, and the shelving unit can hold up to 600 pounds of stuff. The elevation also ensures everything is safe in the event of a flood.
Promising review: "I've recently installed this 4x8-foot overhead storage unit, and I love it! I placed mine just over my oil storage tank, which was pretty much all wasted space. I found that some of my ceiling joists were not 24 inches on center, but I was able to install the unit anyway. This unit is sturdy, easy to install, and it instantly maximizes previously unused space. The range of adjustment allows this unit to be quite functional at varying ceiling heights and storage needs. Accessing this storage space is far easier and faster than climbing my pull-down staircase and maneuvering around my unsafe garage attic. I also like that I can hang things like extension cords and drop lights below the unit, further maximizing the space that was previously unused. I can see one or two more of these in my future for sure. If you're constantly shuffling things around your garage and always trying to find space, buy this overhead storage unit today!" —Mark Jenkins

Promising review: "These hold a lot and are very sturdy. The lids really lock tight. I bought them to store holiday decorations that are kept on the second floor of our garage. My stuff had been in cardboard boxes, and I discovered that mice had chewed through the cardboard and damaged some of the items inside. That led me to transfer everything to heavy-duty plastic containers, and this set is the best I have come across so far. They stack perfectly, too, and shipping was fast. Highly recommend for your storage needs." —Lucy Ray

Promising review: "After deciding that my garage needed a pegboard, I did a ton of research on traditional wood fiber, acrylic, and galvanized steel. Ultimately, I wanted something that was going to last decades, look good, and keep me motivated to build and maintain things around the house. This pegboard solution is just awesome. It looks great, super sturdy, and all of the attachments are rigid. I mounted mine on concrete with a 2-by-2 frame. If you are mounting into concrete, make sure you get your hands on a hammer drill. Super happy with it!" —Ryan

This cabinet is lockable, which makes it a great storage option for yard/pool chemicals or other potentially harmful items — this way, kids and pets can't accidentally get to them.
Promising review: "Just received our cabinet today. Less than an hour later, it has been assembled and put in place, and filled with items that I store in the garage. It was easy to put together, and I liked that the instructions and illustrations were on the outside of the box. It seems very sturdy and looks great. I also liked that it is Rubbermaid. The last few cabinets I have had were metal, and while they were cheaper, they rusted in a short period of time. This one should last me for many, many years, so in the long run, I think it will be well worth the money we spent on it." —Sharon Shopper
