As a Senior Shopping Writer at BuzzFeed, I specialize in a broad range of topics, including beauty, cleaning, fashion, personal care, home, fitness, and my beloved “TikTok made me buy it.” My work has been featured across lifestyle and writing publications during my ten years in the digital media space, including Bustle, HuffPost, HelloGiggles, and The Washington Post.

1. Palmer's Cocoa Butter Tahitian Vanilla Lotion, which is so deeply hydrating that it's designed to be moisturizing for 48 hours — and so delicious-smelling and luxurious that reviewers say it's even better than the TikTok-famous, wildly beloved Eos Vanilla Cashmere Lotion (not to mention cheaper)! Reviewers are also in love with how long the scent lingers and how beautifully it pairs with their other products.

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "The TikTok girlies did not lie. This is great. Smells divine without being too strong." —patricia bentham

"I’m obsessed with this lotion! It smells amazing, and the scent lingers beautifully on my skin all night. By the 24-hour mark, it’s faint but still there, and the hydration lasts the entire time. I’ve seen a lot of people compare it to EOS vanilla cashmere, but I personally love this one more because it’s much more moisturizing. Even though the fragrance isn’t as strong, I love the soft hint of vanilla and cocoa butter it leaves behind. It pairs perfectly with my gourmand perfumes and body sprays. Definitely my new go-to!" —Kxyxlli

2. A "flossing toothbrush" with two layers of bristles — regular firm bristles and longer ones that are ten times thinner to clean deep in between your teeth and gums to mimic flossing. Reviewers love how deep the clean feels, and also how soft it is on sensitive teeth!

Emma Lord/BuzzFeed

Mouthwatchers is a small business established by Ronald Plotka, DDS, that specializes in antimicrobial toothbrushes designed to get deeper cleans that even patients with "great" dental hygiene might miss with traditional brush and floss routines.

I've had one of these for a while, and I love it! I usually use an electric toothbrush, but I feel like I'm getting a much more satisfying clean from these?? Especially because I tend to get yellow stains between my teeth no matter *how* much I floss, and these bristles seem to actually target that a lot more effectively. I've switched to using this in the morning and the electric one at night, and I definitely see a difference in that area in particular.

Promising review: "This was another one of my TikTok purchases! I was skeptical, but my kids hate flossing their teeth, so I thought this might help in between making them floss. They work amazingly! My kids said they could see and feel a difference on the first use, and I agree! They are definitely worth a try! I would suggest not pushing too hard. Those tiny bristles really get in there, and if you push too hard, you might be sore like I was. It felt like after going to a dental cleaning." —Amy N.

The PDRN capsules in this lightweight, nonsticky moisturizer even "pop!" while you're applying for an extra burst that helps target dull skin and leave you extra glowy. Reviewers even swear by this for firming skin on their neck and hands!

www.amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: "Love how this makes my skin feel. I have been using it for three weeks and can tell a difference in my face. But the real surprise came from the difference I saw on the top of my hands. I usually take the product and mix it on the top of my hand, then apply it to my face. Well, my 60-year-old hands are plumper and look more refreshed. So if it’s doing that to my hand, then it’s great for my face." —Dally

I get eyeball headaches like nobody's business, so I was very excited to try these out! My impulse is usually to put an ice pack on my head, but it's just too cold for me to stand it (and too inconvenient). These are super lightweight, easily stick to your forehead, and cool SO FAST it feels like witchcraft. I truly can't comprehend how all the cold comes from such a tiny patch!! It is just the right amount of cold to help numb the pain without distracting me while I'm trying to get work done, and the cold really does last for hours. I often still take a pain reliever when I get headaches, but they take forever to work on me, and these are an absolute godsend while I'm waiting.

7. Eight Saints Firm Intentions Neck Cream, a super gentle but suuuuper effective formula that reviewers with sensitive skin swear by for helping firm the skin on their neck and chests without irritating it. This works gradually over time to help firm skin and reduce the appearance of lines, but many reviewers notice a difference on the first use!

www.amazon.com

Eight Saints is a small business that specializes in skincare products.

Promising review: "I'm a huge fan of all things Eight Saints. I have sensitive skin, and this is the first skincare line that I have seen results in my skin texture and fine lines while not triggering my eczema. When I saw they added this neck cream to their product line, I knew I had to try it. At 39 years old, I've noticed some loss in firmness of my skin on my neck, and when I wake up in the morning, I have wrinkles on my decolletage from side sleeping. I started using this about a week ago, and I've already noticed improvements in the fine lines on my neck, plus when I wake up in the morning, no more wrinkles on my chest! It's so smooth, thick, and creamy, but rubs into your skin with ease, and it's so hydrating. Top quality product again from Eight Saints!" —Ms Leach

I stained a pair of beloved bright-blue bike shorts in my sleep and tried to get it out with soap and water, but the stain was still there when it came out of the wash. I treated it with this, stuck it back in the wash, and BOOM, it's like it never happened (I panicked before I could get a before and after, please forgive me, laundry gods).

I'm a long-ish distance runner, and these were certainly an interesting experience for my feet! You slide them on and, after a few minutes, feel a tingling, mildly burning (in a good way) sensation.
