I am a contributing writer and former BuzzFeed Shopping fellow and I love writing about the latest fashion trends, the cutest home decor, and what beauty products are actually worth adding to your makeup bag.

1. A Baroque mirror — the mirror mirror on the wall that adds a touch of elegance and opens up a room. You can place it in your living room or entryway and get ready to feel like the fairest of them all every time you check your look before heading out the door.

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "All I can say is woooow! This mirror is not only affordable, but the quality is amazing. It’s heavy and not cheap-looking. The gold color is not so tacky, and it’s done just right. My main concern was receiving a broken mirror, but the packaging was great and arrived in one piece. Don’t hesitate to buy this gem; you need it!" —Celeste C

Get it from Amazon for $89.99+ (available in 10 sizes and five colors).

2. A set of reusable amber glass soap dispensers that'll make your kitchen or bathroom look so organized and put together. The Softsoap bottles with little aquarium fish are cute... but I wouldn't necessarily say they go with the ~aesthetic~ you're aiming for. These also come with waterproof labels!

www.amazon.com

You can buy had soap in bulk and just refill these babies instead of constantly rebuying plastic hand soap dispensers. We love a good eco-friendly AND economic-friendly home item.

Promising review: "Exactly what I was looking for! Love this amber glass soap dispenser! It adds a classy touch to my bathroom and works like a charm. Smooth pump action, easy to refill, and eco-friendly. Highly recommend!" —Emily

Get a two-pack from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in 13 styles and larger packs).

3. A macrame kitchen towel holder, because don't you just love when those somewhat boring items in your house get a cute lil' accessory that makes them so much prettier? These also help to keep damp towels off your stainless-steel appliances.

Harper Rose Macrame/Etsy

Harper Rose Macrame is a woman-owned small business started by a mom who took up macrame as a hobby while she was pregnant with her daughter Harper Rose.

Promising review: "I love my sunflower towel holder! Exactly how I hoped it would look. So happy my towels will stop falling off the oven handle." —Bonnie

Get one from Harper Rose Macrame on Etsy for $15+ (available in nine colors and also available in a set of two or three).

4. A woven pendant light for anyone who wants to pretend their house is a boho getaway (even if they live smack dab in the city). When your friends ask you what expensive home store you got that from, you can tell them it's Amazon!

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "I cannot say enough about this light fixture. It’s perfect for our dining room, gives that mid-century bohemian feel, and we get compliments all the time on it." —kayleen amero

Get it from Amazon for $79.99.

5. A chunky knit chenille throw blanket to add a bit of texture to your living space. It doesn't shed, is machine washable, and is 100% handmade. It's time to retire that old, ratty blanket because this throw is so cute, and you'll even love it when you're not snuggling up in it.

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

Promising review: "This FAR exceeded my expectations! What I received for what I paid was so well worth it. I went to JCPenney's the following day and saw a smaller and not even soft version of this for 20 dollars more. It was crappy compared to this luxurious blanket! I am so happy with this purchase that I am going to get another one. Nothing beats the quality, feel, and price of this blanket!" —Angelique Lovell

Get it from Amazon for $29.99+ (available in four sizes and three colors).

6. And a quilted chenille floor pillow perfect if you're looking for a plush place to sit or just a way to make your seating options a little bit more cozy. Not only do humans like it, but one reviewer's cat loves it too!

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

Promising review: "This comes just as pictured and described. It is comfortable and looks luxurious. It's great for floor seating." —AKhan

Get it from Amazon for $32.02+ (available in five colors and also a round style).

7. A mid-century modern swivel chair that gives your reading nook or coffee corner a Gatsby-esque vibe. I swear these look like some chairs that those cool speakeasy bars have, and now your home will just look so spiffy.

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

Promising review: "I love this chair. It looks so nice in the space, and it is actually very comfortable. Keep in mind that I am 5'6 and small build. It is a good chair for my kids to sit in, too. The shape is nice, the material is soft and easy to clean, and it is sturdy so long as you don't rough house on it too hard." —Zoe Berman

Get it from Amazon for $169.99+ (available in 25 colors).

8. A "Girl Dinner" poster, because even if you're not making anything fancy for dinner, this fancy-looking poster will make your kitchen feel quite sophisticated.

Dorothy And Delmar/Etsy

FYI, this is a digital download, so it comes as a PDF file that has a link to download the poster as a JPG file. Plus, you can print it out in a variety of sizes.

Promising review: "Literally the highlight of my kitchen!" —Jaleesa Burkes

Get it from Dorothy And Delmar on Etsy for $4.49 (originally $5.99).

9. A peel-and-stick wallpaper to spruce up that outdated tile or those weirdly painted walls. This is renter-friendly and makes it look like you put a LOT more effort into decorating than you really did.

Amazon

Promising review: "I am IN LOVE. I bought this to use as a backsplash in my rented studio apartment kitchen, which has the potential to be pretty but really needs some help. I ordered two rolls, thinking that if I liked them in my kitchen, I’d order more to use on the wall behind my bar cart. I loved it so much when it came in that I decided to go ahead and put it up on the big wall and deal with the kitchen later. The pattern is so easy to line up, and it looks so good! My tiny, dark apartment instantly looked bigger and brighter. Even up close, I can’t tell where the seams are. It was super easy to put up by myself, though I would recommend having another person to help if possible, because it would have taken a lot less time if I’d had someone to hold it steady while I lined up the edges. If I could give six stars, I would. It’s expensive but worth every penny!" —Lizzy

Get it from Amazon for $29.99+ (available in three colors).

10. Some decorative throw pillow covers that add some vintage pizzazz to those plain white pillows that were on sale at HomeGoods. These are a great addition to any boring couch or bed.

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

These inserts work great for the smaller rectangular throw covers and these ones can go with the square throws!

Promising review: "Saw these advertised online… inexpensive, cute, and turns out, very well made! I bought two different patterns, and they immediately brightened up the rooms where they were placed. Highly recommend." —SPC

Get it from Amazon for $19.90+ (available in packs of two and nine patterns).

11. A velvet headboard to make your queen- or king-size bed truly feel like a place for royalty. Reviewers say this is easy to assemble, and it's way easier than recreating this as a weekend DIY project or spending a nice wad of cash on a whole new bed frame.

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "Really impressed with this headboard; the fabric is so nice and soft and the perfect shade of jade green, just like pictured. It was so easy to assemble, and I love that it will be easy to transport later. Such an affordable option, we almost considered making one but when you calculate the materials and fabric cost it would have just been more a headache than it was worth. So happy with this! Wish I didn't wait so long to order." —HMUMPS

Get it from Amazon for $161.25+ (available in two sizes and nine colors; and also available in a "teddy" version).

12. A set of 24 wood building blocks — a double whammy. Your kiddos get to make fun structures against the windows, and you get to have some colorful, stained-glass-looking decor (which is probably what you prefer compared to 523 Bluey and Paw Patrol stickers stuck to your window).

Amazon, www.amazon.com

Promising review: "Fun educational toy! My 2-year-old daughter has been obsessed with shapes and colors. She loves looking through them, then naming the color and shape. She also loves building with them. They are so beautiful which is a huge plus for me. Oh and I’m pregnant and very sensitive to smells, and did not notice a chemical smell on our set." —Amanda S.

Get it from Amazon for $29.96.

13. An asymmetrical wood mirror to add some *character* to your plain guest bathroom or over your chest of drawers. Who knew mirrors could be such a statement piece?

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

Promising review: "We added this to a smaller downstairs bathroom in our Airbnb, and it made the space feel way more fun than a rectangular mirror. The template was decent; you just had to know how you wanted your mirror to hang prior to throwing the template on the wall. The good thing is that because it's asymmetrical, the imperfect hanging adds to the funkiness of it." —Chris Scherr

Get it from Amazon for $83.69+ (available in four colors and various sizes).

14. Or an arched full-length mirror for all those fit checks and mirror selfies, because if you're posting those OOTDs, it only makes sense to have an aesthetic mirror go with your aesthetic outfits. You can hang this up against your wall or use the stand if you don't want to deal with hanging it up.

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

Promising review: "I love this mirror; it's easy to install and comes with instructions; it's a super pretty wall feature for my hallway! I love how big it is; full body mirror!" —Justin Payton

15. An LED floor lamp, which will definitely be a conversation starter because of how futuristic it looks. Plus, it's dimmable, so you can switch from a bright influencer ring light to a soft glow when it's time to unwind.

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "The light is nice! It’s a unique-looking light. I love how it has three different settings so you can adjust the brightness. It fits perfectly with my reading chair and goes well with the rest of my living room decor. The only con I have is I wish the cord was clear instead of black, it sticks out. Other than that, I love the light. I’d definitely recommend it to others." —Carmelita Joy

Get it from Amazon for $84.99+ (available in four colors).

16. A tree bookshelf since you want to ~branch~ out on your decorating skills and find a new way to store your books. Each nook can hold up to 22lbs!

Amazon

Promising review: "Gosh, I love this thing! It took our cluttered shelf and turned it into a thing of beauty. My kids can still see and access all their favorite books, but now without everything falling all over. Sturdy, can hold several heavy books. Easy to assemble. Maybe my favorite purchase of the year. Absolutely recommend!" —Jessi M

Get it from Amazon for $53.99+ (available in four sizes and two colors).

17. Some candle stick holders for any unpainted or plain candles that just need a little something to make them look more cutesy.

AURAQUEDesign/Etsy

Promising review: "Lovely quality item! Even better than it looks in the photos. Would happily buy from this seller again." —Ukiiyo

Get it from Aura Que Design on Etsy for $25.74 (available in five colors).

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com

Promising review: "I always brag on this coffee table because I feel like it gives expensive. This pic is before I set it up, but it is so smooth, so easy to put together. So lightweight but still durable. I really plan on keeping it for a long time. It’s the perfect size. It’s minimalist without being too plain Jane. And it holds well.
