There are many people who'd be excited if they ever bumped into Hyun Bin. Then there were these boys.

Recently, the 43-year-old perennial heartthrob was a guest on South Korean variety show Whenever Possible with his Made in Korea 2 co-star Woo Do-hwan.

The duo were accompanied by hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok as they strolled through the streets of Anyang City.

Suddenly, the group was stopped by two young boys, who instantly recognised Do-hwan, Jae-suk and Yeon-seok.

One of the boys exclaimed: “Are you Yoo Jae-suk? Aren’t you Yoo Yeon-seok from Hospital Playlist?”

But what viewers couldn’t believe was that the boys completely ignored Hyun Bin, who was standing right next to them.

The boys also asked to take a picture with the other three stars, while the actor, who didn’t seem too bothered by the interaction — or lack thereof — initially walked away.

Hyun Bin, however, noticed that one of the boys was looking in his direction while searching for someone to take the photo, and graciously said: “I’ll take the picture for you!”

Hilariously, the boy still didn’t realise who he was and naturally handed his phone over to Hyun Bin.

As if that wasn’t awkward enough, Jae-suk and Yeon-seok quickly tried to explain: “He’s also a very famous actor!” but to no avail.

All the kids' said in response was: “Huh? Really?”. Ouch.

Netizens were tickled by the scene, with many quipping that the boys’ mothers would be furious if they saw the clip.

“Mummy’s gonna make them watch all of Hyun Bin’s dramas once they get home,” one joked.

Another jested: “They actually turned their mum’s dream man into a photographer.”

Well, to those boys, this heartthrob was apparently just another random cameraman.
