Upon examination, it was revealed that the kitten had a Cuterebra larva lodged in her facial region, causing distress and discomfort. The vet promptly executed a delicate removal procedure, ensuring the complete extraction of the larva while minimizing the kitten's discomfort. Following the procedure, the vet administered thorough care, including pain relief and antibiotic treatment to prevent infection. The kitten responded positively to the treatment and is presently recovering comfortably, exhibiting normal eating, drinking, and playful behavior.
