Malaysian coffee chain Koppiku opened its maiden store in Kuala Lumpur last Friday. Koppiku co-founder Rajiv Bhanot told Tech in Asia that the firm plans to add a few more outlets this year throughout the Klang Valley.
The startup, which counts prominent entrepreneurs and VC firms among its investors, aims to compete with other coffee chains in Malaysia with drinks priced from 5 ringgit (US$1.07) to 9.90 ringgit (US$2.13).
