Indian Teen’s Throat Slashed by Acquaintance in Hospital; Staff Watched It Happen
A 19-year-old girl was brutally murdered in the presence of medical personnel, who witnessed the attack without intervening.
The incident occurred inside a government hospital in Madhya Pradesh, India.
The victim bled to death after her throat was slashed by an obsessed acquaintance.
Sandhya Chaudhary left home at around 2:00PM on Friday (27 June 2025) to visit a friend’s sister-in-law at the hospital’s maternity ward.
Abhishek Koshti, the 25-year-old perpetrator, had been loitering around the hospital since noon, apparently waiting for her arrival.
Eyewitness footage captured the horrific ten-minute attack. Koshti engaged Chaudhary in a brief conversation before suddenly assaulting her. He pinned her to the ground, sat on her chest, and used a knife to slash her throat.
Two security guards were stationed outside the trauma center during the incident. Multiple doctors, nurses, and hospital staff were present inside the facility.
None attempted to stop the killer.

One nurse told police that when she and other staff members tried to intervene, Koshti threatened them. “Don’t interfere, or I’ll kill you too,” he warned the medical personnel.
The attacker attempted to harm himself after killing Chaudhary, then fled the scene on a motorcycle. Police arrested him within an hour of the murder.
Police revealed that Koshti and Chaudhary had known each other for over two years after meeting through social media. In January 2025, Koshti began suspecting Chaudhary of being unfaithful and accused her of seeing other men.
Koshti confessed to police that he had planned to kill Chaudhary and then take his own life. His suicide attempt failed.
