Skyroot Aerospace, a Hyderabad-based space launch startup, said it has raised US$60 million in a round co-led by Sherpalo Ventures at a US$1.1 billion valuation, giving the company unicorn status.

Existing investors including GIC, Greenko Group founders, and Arkam Ventures also joined the round, alongside new backers including BlackRock and Playbook Partners.
