Indonesia blocks X’s Grok chatbot over deepfake concerns
Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Digital has temporarily blocked access to Grok, an AI chatbot owned by Elon Musk’s X, citing concerns over non-consensual deepfake content.
The ministry said the move aims to protect citizens from AI-generated explicit material, especially content involving women and children.
