PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s inflation trajectory is expected to stay benign through 2026 as easing global cost pressures and measured domestic policy adjustments continue to filter through the economy.

Despite a temporary lift in core prices, analysts expect the headline path to remain subdued, underpinned by softer commodities, targeted subsidies and restrained tariff changes.
