Instead of placing the main living spaces on the ground floor, the architects moved them upstairs, creating a dramatic living and dining space surrounded by greenery, sky and an expansive swimming pool. From its double-volume living room and central courtyard to its timber staircase, tropical landscaping and resort-like master bedroom, every detail is designed to make this urban home feel far removed from the city around it. The material palette is deliberately restrained, combining board-form concrete, Burmese teak and silver travertine to create a calm backdrop for everyday life.
