As many know by now, Katy Perry and the former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have been sparking romance rumors left and right after their unexpected outing in July 2025. (And apparently, he’s been taking the extra mile to woo her!)

Insiders recently told Star Magazine that Trudeau has been trying to sweep her off her feet.

“It’s very new, but it’s hard to imagine a more exciting guy to be wooed by, at least in Katy’s eyes. She’s fascinated by politics, and landing arguably the hottest politician in the world is a feather in her cap,” they said, adding that he “really has Katy on a pedestal. Their conversations are way more interesting than anything she and Orlando ever talked about. This has all been very exciting for her.”

As we mentioned, Perry only became single a few weeks ago after she and Orlando Bloom called their engagement off after nearly a decade together. As for Trudeau, he split up with his wife of nearly 20 years, Sophie Grégoire, back in Aug 2023; and has kept very private with his dating life since.

Then, Perry and Trudeau started reportedly dating after a July 28 date night in Montreal, and then Trudeau attended Perry’s LifetimesTour in Montreal on July 29. (However, per The US Sun, they first met at an unnamed event a few weeks before their first date.) And now, everyone is waiting for the updates.
