Insight Partners leads $30m round for Australian software firm

Octopus Deploy, a Brisbane software deployment platform, raised AU$45.6 million (US$30 million) from Insight Partners, boosting its valuation to AU$882 million (US$579 million).
Founded in 2012 by Paul and Sonia Stovell, the company helps software teams deploy and test code at enterprise scale.
It now has over 300 employees, more than 4,000 customers, and users have completed 426 million code deployments.
The new funding follows a AU$223 million (US$146.3 million) investment from Insight Partners in 2021 and raised the valuation from AU$760 million (US$500 million).
Octopus Deploy reported AU$127 million (US$83.3 million) in annual recurring revenue and highlighted growing enterprise customers spending over US$100,000 annually.
