Thousands of Instagram users were tonight reporting issues with the app.

Approximately 2,800 users were struggling to access the Instagram app at around 8.15pm UK time. Fans of the site took to other social media sites to express their anger. About 52 per cent of reported problems were associated with the app as 31 per cent couldn't login at 8.15pm.
