Over the weekend, most people have posted pictures of Singapore's skyline or the NDP fireworks in light of National Day (Aug 9).

But local actress Dawn Yeoh seemed to have celebrated our country's 60th birthday a very different way. Yesterday (Aug 10), the 39-year-old, whose popularity skyrocketed earlier this year thanks to her irritating-yet-somewhat-likeable character Kang Si Li in Mediacorp blockbuster Emerald Hill, shared a really sweet photo on her Instagram Stories. 

In said pic, Dawn was holding the hand of someone, presumably a man, who was seated opposite her at a table. 

"This national day is... very special," she captioned with a red and a white heart, representing the colours of our national flag. 

She also included the date "09.08.2025", suggesting that it was a day to remember. 

Dawn's allusive photo immediately got us wondering if she is currently attached.

The actress has been hush-hush about her love life all along but revealed that she's not only single and also "available" in an interview two years ago. She's recently also only been rumoured to be dating her live stream partner, local actor Terence Cao, though Dawn had personally rubbished those speculations. 

8days.sg, however, reached out to both Dawn and her manager to verify her relationship status, but did not receive a response as of press time.

Has Kang Si Li finally found her person to go to the Sunset Boulevard with?
