JD.com has launched JoyExpress, a business-to-consumer courier service, in Saudi Arabia.

Operated by JD Logistics, the service offers same-day and next-day delivery for local ecommerce platforms and merchants.

It also provides cross-border shipping and customs clearance across most of Saudi Arabia’s 13 provinces.

JD Logistics is building a broader logistics network in the country, including warehouses, sorting centers, and delivery stations.

The launch supports JD.com’s expansion plans in the Middle East.
