PETALING JAYA: Defending champions Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) have secured their quarter-final spot in the Malaysia Cup after beating Police 11-1 on aggregate in the last 16.

The Southern Tigers however were made to wait for their goal in the second leg as they etched a slim 1-0 win at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium in Iskandar Puteri on Saturday (Jan 24).

JDT will take on Melaka in the two legged quarter-finals at the Hang Jebat Stadium on Feb 7 and Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on Feb 14.
